John 5:24 says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”.
So what exactly does God’s Word say about being saved and what do we have to believe in order to receive eternal life, not be judged for our sins, and be delivered from the kingdom of darkness and death into which we are all born?
Acts 17:11 says, “Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.”
The writer of Acts here is commending a group of people (the Bereans) because they did not simply believe the teaching of the Apostle Paul but checked out what he said against what they knew to be true (the Scriptures). We would encourage you to do the same. Please do not believe what we present here, but rather go and check it out for yourselves in God’s word and, if you see some truth, BELIEVE it.
